Password-less SSH Login on Media Temple GS account
I’m really not sure why Media Temple support told me this is not possible to do, but it is.
I use Media Temple ssh 5-10 times a day, that’s why typing in
ssh serveradmin@positivesum.org@s43472.gridserver.com
and then entering password is way too slow.
There is a better way.
To login, I use
ssh ps
ps – is acronym for positivesum.org
In this tutorial, I will explain to [...]
Hosted Development Environment now has a name – hstd.org
nice, short and to the point.
I wanted to make sure that you didn’t have to type too much. not like nobelwomensinitiative.org.s43453.gridserver.com
you’ll hurt yourself typing that
on hstd it will be nobelwomensinitiative.org.hstd.org
and I googled hstd acronym here is what comes up
HSTD
- Hanford Site Technical Description
HSTD -
High Speed and Temperature Diagnostics
HSTD -
Human Service Transportation Delivery
So we’re good.

How stupid is this? Getting logout to work on Joomla 1.5 with SEF and mod_rewrite
This only took me an hour and a half.
This is a bit ridiculous.
I’m kinda pissed.
How the hell are you suppose to get “logout” link to work on Joomla 1.5?
Hosted Development Environments

Mid July to End of August 2008
The next month and a half are going to be very interesting.
We’ve decided to take a break from doing projects to focus on our process. We would like to really streamline our operation. We’ve been popping out projects and things have been very interesting but we would like to introduce more efficiency.
Development of Joomla Commenting Component
One of the recent projects that we were involved in required us to create a commenting component that allowed to leave comments and upload variations to the original post.
Separation of duties – the lines are so murky – Follow up and conclusion
So after an extended investigation into the separation of duties we have determined that what we were actually looking for was a lead developer.
Separation of duties – the lines are so murky
Hmm… I’ve been thinking alot about this recently and it directly impacts how we work within the cooperative.
How do all these roles separate and how do you associate tasks with roles?
For example, where does Project Architect stop, Project Manager being and Development Lead starts.
What is the responsibility that Project Manager has and how do we [...]
Vini Pux
This is one of my favourite cartoons. Unfortunately, it’s in russian only so you don’t get to enjoy the depth of Pux’s songs, unless you speak Russian. For those of you who thinks – who cares, it’s Vinnie Pooh anyway. Well, it’s not, the text is all different and the stories are different too – [...]
